I was in D8 yesterday and met a really friendly light grey cat asking to be petted. While I was petting it, I noticed a lump below the "armpit" (where the front leg meets the body). When I poked at it again to check, the cat growled, it was probably painful. I avoided the spot after but I'm wondering what it was and a bit worried for the little guy. It didn't have a collar and seemed pretty fond of humans and quite smart, e.g. didn't bite when it was unahppy after I touched the lump or when I was leaving, just showed teeth and meowed. I live pretty far from D8 so wouldn't be able to do anything about it anyway... Can't help wondering though.
