Hi I'm in Waterford and wondering if anyone can recommend the best coal for stove fire from their experience, also if they know of any offers to buy coal in bulk.
So many to chose from I'd like to see people's opinions and save time trying them all out myself to see.
    Thanks

Try bargain alerts. Thread is called seems like a good deal on coal or close to that. Think they mostly recommend ovoids.

Basically, you get what you pay for. Only use Premium Coal or Ovoids. I prefer the ovoids, I find they give out the most heat. Just make sure your Grate or Stove can take the Heat they give out.

Eco brite is brilliant for heat & last hours , you can get if delivered from Mc Carthys in tramore. I normally ring on a Thursday or Friday & pay over the phone for delivery on a Saturday as that's when they deliver into Waterford city. Not cheap but you get what you pay for & glass doesn't go black.
