I'm trying to understand Fair Use vs Fair Dealings.
I cant post a link to the videos because boards wont let me, but just put www dot youtube dot com rest of the URL in my example below.
    For example
    'www dot youtube dot com/watch?v=HfuwNU0jsk0
Youtube uses this example of how to use fair use correctly but Is this considered ok in Ireland
    /watch?v=HfuwNU0jsk0

    Also,
    /watch?v=FvH8aZ2YA1A
In America you could do this by using clips from a film for example because its 'transformative'.
    Does this work in Ireland?

If this isn't legal how does this work, if a video like this is created in Ireland by an Irish person and posted on an American website(Youtube) where this is legal. How does that get resolved?

I also have a copyright question, I hope it’s ok to drop it in here. Feel free to remove if I should have started a new thread.

Can a stenographers report from a public hearing be copyrighted?

    What about this
    /watch?v=FJBgzX2HMe8

Would Team Four Star be in breach of copyright in Ireland?
