Nice fillies and mares race at Keeneland tomorrow in the 9:35, a race where the winner will get automatic qualification for the Breeders Cup fillies and mares race. Outsider One Liz has done nothing to even deserve to be in the line up tomorrow. Zipessa has bits and pieces of form, but on balance isn't up to the class of the rest of the field based on recent efforts against many in this field. The same goes for German raider Delectation, who has some useful English turf form, but is unproven over conditions tomorrow. Things then start getting interesting with Roca Rojo, a former Aidan McGuinness horse that has its own thread on this forum. I like this mare a lot, but I can't see it winning on firm ground given its form. That leaves three entries which I think have a realistic chance tomorrow. Hawksmoor runs for Arnaud Delacour, who has a cracking record with this race, but the horse ran bad beyond belief last time out in the Beverly D. Argentinian bred horse Dona Bruja is very lightly raced and comes with a huge amount of hype. Certainly a smart mare, but was beaten fair and square in the Beverly D, expect this one to come home late. All this leaves me with Dickinson, who was a course and distance winner this year against what probably was the top mare of the year so far (Lady Eli). Backed at 7/2 with Ladbrokes, although I am a little worried about Hawksmoor, who absolutely has a chance if its last run was as out of character as the trainer suggested.

Anyone think that Winx is a lay at Flemington tomorrow on course debut after some dubious looking performances as of late, going the other way around at Flemington against a horse in Humidor that is a course specialist who has notched up some useful victories here? Bookmakers odds are terrible, so I have stuck a small keep in play bet on Betfair at 7's. Hopefully I wake up tomorrow to a nice surprise.

I like the place chances of Siyoushake 12/1 in the Sun Chariot. Has been doing its best work when placing in the closing stages in French group 1s so the likely strong pace at Newmarket should see her running on to place again tomorrow.

I know Zimmer put up a tip in the same race but I've Diable De Sivola as one of my handicappers to follow this season and it runs in the 3.05 Fontwell today.. Few quid around for it already

MISTER TRADER is just too big a price @ 20's to turn down in the first at ascot.
If he can recapture his 2yr old form when just 2L behind caravagvio and 5L ahead of Roly Poly he would have every chance.

Is Fayonah worth laying? First time over hurdles? Very short price!

Once again Tombstone frustrates. Fair enough he went through the second last but seemed to want to duck in behind Ruby's mount on the runin. Might give him one more chance.....

Bit of a professional loser at this stage. Don't know why they keep holding him up, he has shown before that he lacks in the finishing kick department, he might even be a little bit reluctant to go by in a battle because he had enough time to get by the winner if he was hungry enough for the win.

A change of trainer and scenery next year might be a good idea with him. He looked lean and fit today, so maybe they need to work on his head.

He could improve a lot as a 4yo when he fills out a bit more.

Flopped, hard to believe she's the same horse that finished 2nd to Roly Poly in France

That's a killer, he'd no right to lose considering his previous form and that he got there in time. He almost got his head in front but seemed to drop back to a neck nearer the line.
