#NEW SLURRY TANK PROBLEM#

Got a new belmac slurry tank and when I started it up and put in into fill position and opened up the back handle it only started blowing out air out the hose and nothing else. When I changed the handle the opposite way it started blowing out air and oil out the vacuum pump. The black ball I have noticed does not move from the bottom and fills up a bit with this black oil. Is it they mixers up the direction of the handle. Or is it something to do with the floating ball that's that doesn't move on mine hope someone can help??

    Any pictures of it?
Does the tanker have the pump on the side or the front of the tanker?
It sounds like it's a hydraulic pump on the side.
Maybe you have the Hydraulic pipes the wrong way round on the tractor and maybe you just need to swap them around?
Haven't a clue about Hydraulic pumps or these tankers but if you had too much oil blowing out in a "normal" pto pump you just turn back the oil adjuster knob on top of the pump.
    Not much help here.

If it's blowing air out the filler pipe, you're in "spread" position on the pump.
Blowing oil out the "exhaust"of the pump means it's in "filling" position, and the oiler adjustment screw is letting too much oil out.

Sounds like when you open the fill point that the tank is pressurised still. Open it up slowly with pto off and let the pressure blow out the fill point. Open it 1/4 to 1/2 inch. And stand out of the way
    Let it fully depressurise

    Then refill tank.

After spreading the slurry and knocking off the pto let the tank depressurise on the field that way when your back at shed/lagoon your ready to suck.

***. If this is the first ever load and you can't suck it I'd call belmac.
