May be wrong Forum But I will ask anyway. I got two Gas bottles afew years ago for my super ser and cooker I paid a deposit on both. Now I have mains Gas and dont need bottled Gas now. On returning them to the Supplier he refused to return deposit. Is This right.I always got my replacement bottles from this supplier.

AFAIK they have no cash value. This stops theft. I've never heard of a gas bottle depot refund. That doesn't mean that they do not exist

Contact main office of the supplier and explain. If you do, please post their reply. Interesting scenario.

Thanks for the info I will be looking more into it. Normally you pay a deposit so that you will keep it safe.

My understanding is that it is not a deposit, but a service hire charge for the maintenance and usage of their gas cylinder. They wont give you any money back i would think
