Hi, sorry thread a few months old, but I'm also wondering about evening traffic.

So a wet workday evening in winter, at what point after rush hour does the traffic congestion clear a bit? e.g. 7pm at M6 junction, travelling to salthill, how long might that take? How about 7:30pm at M6?

    Thanks.

Traffic is usually much lighter after 7pm.
I often play soccer in Renmore and finish at 7pm midweek, and then drive across town to Knocknacarra. There is usually a little bit of traffic, but much lighter than what you experience from 5 until 6:30
Should have no issue getting from the M6 to Salthill in 30 minutes at that time
