How to view Kona Ironman world championship

Hi,

my club looking to watch IM in Kona, any advice welcome.

Was going to put up on a projector via PC streaming from Ironman live website.

Just asking if anyone has had any problems with this in past?

If start male pros is 6.25am local Hawaii time, they would be 11 hrs behind Ireland so 5.25pm saturday evening.
Is that correct, doubting myself.

usually watch it every year, your timing is about right. jsut bear in mind it's an internet stream, and not from big broadcasting company like a tv station,so the quality is not as good and it's not going to look good on a big screen, i.e. a projector. watchable probably, but not good

and just to be clear, the coverage is all of the pro race. if you are watching to see an AGer from your club or someone you know, you can save yourself the time, you have 0% chance of seeing them

There will actually be a bar available after AGM, but not free.

Just heard that Redbull tv will be broadcasting, thanks for link.
