Secret Santa ... could we have a boards one?

    If reddit can do it we surely should be able? Anyone up for it? Are we too curmudgeonly?

    It'd be a chance for any millionaires in our midst to show their benevolent side ala Bill Gates on reddit Secret Santa when he sent someone 4000 dollars worth of loot last year. As far as I know it can all be organised with no real effort from one person these days thanks to Apps like Elfster.

    Would it work?

    Used to do it years and years ago. Probably nearly a decade ago at this rate.

    Was a time when AH had more tight knit community.

    The postage would outweigh the cost of the gifts. Better for us all to order something from AliExpress (not Gearbest!) for each other. Half the fun will be seeing how long into next year it takes for them to be delivered.

    Yeah that's what I was thinking. If we set it up early /now places like aliexpress etc would be perfect. There's none of you id spend a river postage on. :)
    It could be a real lucky bag or bag of crap experience then.
