Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

My mother acts like a crazy person for the past 5 months, it has gotten very worse in the last week. She is talking like
    - google my name I'm a queen
    - we all have chips in our bodies i have chips in my body
    - she is telling me i have to eat like american soldier and gives me lemons to eat wtf???
and other **** like that which seem very crazy to the point me and my father are scared of what she might do to us/her

can we call ambulance for that? we went to gardai but they said if she wasnt violent or threatened herself/us they cant do anything and we hav to go to gp or something..

    regards

First port of call is the GP.

In out-of-hours case, get out of hours doctor, or call an ambulance.

I have called ambulance but it turned out they can't do anything...
Yesterday was bad but like 50% reduction of the bad behaviour (except she said if I dont give her money for ciggaretes she will jump from cliff) - she never said such things in her life!.

Today all day she has been fine... Except I live in the first flour and she tries to enters my room ( I have barricaded it with sofa and treadmill to not allow her let in!), and says that she wants to cut her hair bald!. Anyway we going to GP tomorrow afternon cause she agreed to it.

QUESTION:::::: I was wondering if anyone know which drug or illness may cause a person to cut their own hair bold? ::::::::

I know its not that abnormal to have hair cut bold (but for a woman...? and woman who said such bull**** before like I have described in the first post plus a lot more?)...

    Edit:
From what I googled it may be psychotic break or something like that!

Best of luck with it. It might be helpful to ring the GP first and tell them you are concerned about your mother and explain some of the behaviour that has been going on. Has your mother ever displayed any of these behaviours before?
