Wiring a IH 674 diesel

hi all i want to rewire my 674 just for starting no lights etc
anyone know how to do it and where to get wire
mechanics not interested as i guess its too old etc
cant seem to find anything on the internet

Any auto electrician should do it. Not to hard to do, whats wrong with the wiring?

Might be worth getting in touch with Brewster Electronics in Lanesboro in Longford, they might have something on the shelf ready to install or can make you up one for a reasonable cost.

hi all thanks for replies#
got wiring sorted found a broken one through all the maze

anyway while im at it the tractor wont start without "easy start" or a tow
it turns fine and just did the injectors
dont want to spend a fortune on it as i use it very rarely
any ih specialists out there ???

That easy start more than likely the cause of your problem, terrible stuff, causes awful damage.. A compression test would be your first port of call

Is the cable in the middle under the wheel pulling enough to push the excess diesel function?

i dont like using the easy start the cable for starting is fine and i usually put it about half way

might try a compression test

I know the cousins international the cable thing used be finiky until they got used to it....starts no issue now

Slight off topic....anyone know where to get a front cab section (part for windscreen etc)off a 684 international (seen new remanufactered somewhere...but can't find now)

Have all windows etc,or even help identifying the cab type would help...if I was to ring a brakers
