Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Approach it from a customer perspective - how easy will it be to navigate around, payments, order history. Will it have reviews?

Then from your perspective - how to update, order processing, answering customer queries, moderating reviews.

Other questions: mobile friendly, site speed, SEO setup.

    Some starting questions:

    1) what experience do you have of developing e-commerce sites.
    2) what examples of previous e-commerce sites can you show me (then go test shopping).
    3) What ongoing support will you offer and how much will it cost. What response times for support. What hours covered for support.
    4) What e-commerce platform would you use.
    5) Who will load the product/price data. What format will you need it in.
    6) Who will write the product descriptions.
    7) Who will provide/optimise/load the product photographs
    8) Who will work out the taxonomy. Categories, subcategories, attributes etc. (don't underestimate how hard it can be to get this right)
    9) What payment processors would they use, why, what are the ongoing costs. Alternatively, ask if they can support your existing payment processor.
