    Heh guys,

So I'm thinking of spraying my Pebble dash white , it has got very dirty. Live in a housing estate..

My question is , would it be ok to use sandex masonry paint? On bucket it says suitable for roller or brush. No mention of spraying?

Whereas the Dulux says you can spray it on bucket buts it's much more expensive?

Or have any of you previously done it, and if so what do you recommend?

    Thanks
    Brendan

Was it painted before? If not sprelaying with bleach might clean it up for you and avoid painting. Pics will always help

    Hi,

No it wasn't sprayed before but it's 13-15 years old, I would just like to freshen it up. I did wash it before with bleach , it did help a bit but I think spraying it white will make a job of it.

If the finish is the original pebble dash in plaster and was never painted I would be inclined to use the agri bleach and spray it on. It would come out like new. If it was ever painted before even once the only option to do it right is clean it and then paint it whether by brush or spray

You will have to wash it before painting. So you may as well try that first.
Spray it with a good industrial cleaner. Then lightly power wash.

    It might be good enough

I used the bleach before it wasn't great. No it wasn't painted before either.

My friend uses a great foam on his chicken houses, it eats into the dirt o feeders and floor. I think called powerfoam. I must look into see if it would be any good for Pebble dash.

You both seem to be against spraying if possible any reason?

Think they call it red label but that's not it's actual name. But it may be called red chlorus or so ethibg like that. It comes in a black 20 litre container. It ls just a high strength bleach

    im not against painting it.
but you seem to dislike it because its dirty .

painting it is easy. hire the sprayer and spray it. get the good type that sucks out of a paint bucket not the hopper type. the hopper type is too heavy and messy.
I sprayed my grandmothers 2 story house with one a few months ago . 2 coats in one dry day. seems perfect.

If the dash isn't too heavy, you could do a lot of work with a one inch nap roller. Then finish missed bits with a brush. Wash first.
