Monthly leap card wont validate?

    My leap card cost comes out of my salary (its the monthly tax one). I usually validate it the last day of the month. I tried to do it today (2nd oct) and the machine wont let the cashier do it?

    Is it because i didnt do it on the last day of the month?

    Is there anything i can do?

    System may be off line, as they are updating the web part:

    Leapcard.ie is undergoing essential maintenance from Saturday 30th September until Tuesday 3rd October.

    Leap Cards will function as normal but you will be unable to buy, top-up, register or check your account using the website.

    If you need to top-up over this maintenance period, all other options will be available. So you can top-up via the Leap Top-up App, through Leap Card Agents and at Luas and Irish Rail Ticket Vending Machines.

    The full website should be back up and running on Tuesday 3rd October in the afternoon.

    We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this maintenance may cause.

    What happened when the cashier tried it? Did you try a different shop?

    Its probable that the action list as expired

    So the monthly ticket was uploaded to the system but you didn't collect in time.

    Call leap support and get them to confirm the ticket is there and to push the ticket again

    In future ensure you collect between the 25th and 31st to avoid problems, if you are a daily train user then change the collection point to the train so it will happen automatically as you travel (or in the ticket vending machines)

    I think they can only send a ticket out through the operator it's for.
