Test drove one of them last year, see this thread for details. they're fine cars for what they are, shouldn't give any trouble, fuel consumption is quite good.

If you could up the budget to €10k you’d get a Lexus CT200h

Took a test drive in one of these in Cork this week. A 2012 low mileage <90,000km Jap import. Nice car to drive if quite slow at motorway speeds, the CVT is laggy to respond to accelerator input but very smooth, light steering and quite playful which surprised me. No rear windscreen wiper on the one I was looking at which would be an issue for some and rear viability was middling.

Light build on the whole quite a lot of road and tire noise, but the CVT means engine noise is minimal.

Great interior if you are a bit of a techie, gadgets everywhere and the dash is really engaging with it's changing colors etc. Good comfort and a nice amount of room, boot space was poorer than I thought though from looking at pictures beforehand.

Seriously considering one now though, was quite quirky and something you don't see every day. :o From reading online too reliability is good as long as the CVT gets it's oil changes and the CVT filters are done at the same time.

Supposedly it's vital to ensure the software updates from Honda are done as one was related to the airbags.

Let me know how you get on I would be very interested.

There are loads of similar looking cheaper ones out there though. Why break the budget?
