Amazon return to Portlaise

    Hey guys,
    I received an order through amazon uk warehouse from Germany but they sent me the wrong item so I was wondering did anyone have experience returning it back to amazon returns in the portlaise mail centre?
    For the label do I just print out 2 copies and place one on the outer box and tape it and one for the inside of the box?

    Sweet thanks, they are highlighted but I just wanted to find out if people have had any issues giving it into the post office as from searching on boards people were asked to pay for postage even though its a prepaid label. It's an an post express label so gokg to send it this Thursday and see how it goes.

    Did you get your refund? Did it take long?

    I had to do the same thing I purchased off amazon.de as well and got the free returns slip. Handed into the post office no issues.

    2 weeks on no refund from Amazon, they say they have not received the item yet. An Post just took the parcel and never gave me a receipt.

    Any advice?

    You should have asked for a receipt. Contact Amazon and ask them, but there isn't much they can do if you didn't get e receipt to at least prove you posted it.

    Thanks silly mistake never asking he just took the packet and closed the window it never even dawned on me till now I never got a receipt. I mailed Amazon and as you say they can do nothing without it.

    I mailed an post maybe they can track or provide a POD otherwise I'm screwed an expensive lesson.

    Just an update I sent a copy of the return label and they have now processed the refund.

    Lesson here is always get a receipt when dropping packets back.

    With amazon.de I had similar issue with very expensive laptop..

    Amazon said it can take upto 6 weeks for returns to arrive..

    At the end anyhow, amazon customer service assured me, they believed me and said they would send me an affidavit (in german) to sign and they would be happy with that.

    I hassled the consigner Cycleon - saggart and they emailed me saying it was delivered after 3 weeks.. Still took amazon another 10 days to process it.

    Sit tight and perhaps print out your slip again and email it to Cycleon and ask them to confirm they delivered it ok ... That would be some reassurance.
