I have a snowman knitting pattern that I would like to make bigger. I was thinking about doubling the size but is it as simple as I am thinking. Keeping the same wool and needles i double the cast on stitches, double the number of st-st rows but do I also double the amount of increases and decreases? E.g the most increases stops at for increase row k5,inc1 to end. do I keep increasing till I get to k10,inc1?same for decreasing? thanks

Much easier to use 2 stands held together and bigger needles, is use 2 stands of double knit and size 9mm needles.

The pattern says chunky wool and 5.5mm needles. What should I do if I use two strands of chunky wool?
