Hi, I was hoping to book flights to New York this week for a trip next March. I have been keeoping an eye on flight prices but they have jumped up over €100 in the past few days, typical! :)
Are these likely to come back down again or will they probably keep going up now? I know Aer Lingus do flight sales every now and again but as I'm planning to be over there for Paddy's Day I'm afraid the flights might get dearer with it being a popular time.

If it's paddys day I'd say book now, personally. As that's a very busy time for travel to/from Ireland

I am travelling to New York next month with Aerlingus and watched flight prices for 6-8 weeks before taking the plunge at what I got was the lowest price.

They went down/up/down again at various times and eventually I nabbed them for 396 euro , which I consider a good price.

March time alright is a busy time with St Patricks day and people coming and going both ways for holidays/family visits.

You have the alternative of flying with Norwegian air ( to an airport outside of NYC ) or Delta into JFK either. You might find better pricing there.
