Two questions about the driving test

    1) Can I do the driving test in my parents car, if I'm down under their insurance

    and

    2) The car has like a camera installed so when you're reversing you can see out the back, with the little display monitor being under the radio. I did all my lessons using the mirrors, shifting around in the seat etc but the monitor is 100000x easier to use, so I'm wondering would I be allowed use that in a test? It turns on automatically so it'd be hard to not use it.

Yes you can use your parents car once you’re insured on it, just make sure all the discs are in date.

You can use the reversing camera on the car in conjunction with the usual observations, so don’t rely on the camera alone, you still have to check mirrors and look behind you.

I don't see how you can use it for reversing around a corner. It's only purpose is to aid people into a parking spot, so they can see that they are between lines, or not too close to the car behind them.

It's worthless to use as an observational tool for any manoeuvre.

The backup camera could be used to check that you're properly aligned with the curb during and after the maneuver, I suppose. It doesn't replace normal observations during the maneuver, but it does give you a bit more visibility as to your car's position and what's directly behind you in your rear blind spot.
