Stephen Byrne - 2FM Weekenders

    RTÉ have finally updated the 2FM website to confirm Stephen Byrne as Ruth Scott's replacement on Weekenders.

    A lot of people think his show is different to Ruth's but it's the same really apart from the presenter. One article about Ruth said she hadn't heard "replacement Stephen Byrne's show", although if it was a different show then it wouldn't be using the name "Weekenders". Hence why Eoghan McDermott's show dropped the name "DriveBy" when he took over from Colm Hayes, going for the much blander "(The) Eoghan McDermott (Show)". He was thought to only be an interim replacement but the fact that RTÉ have updated the site suggests otherwise.

    So what do you guys think of Stephen Byrne and Weekenders? Are you enjoying the show or are you sad that Ruth Scott is not presenting it any more?
