    Hi all

Does the recent SEAI study suggest that kerosene is cheaper than natural gas? There doesn't seem to be much in it.

Presume the BGE standing charge is included in the calcs.

    Am i interpreting it correctly?

    Yes and no.

Yes taking standard pricing, but with discounts of over 10% generally available the pricing is about the same at time of survey.

Kerosene has risen about 10% (320 for 500l, was 290 in jan) since, but overall the difference is not huge.

    Thanks CeilingFly.

This would suggest that keroscene was the cheaper option until recently.

Probably an unfair question, but what would you go with if you were putting in a new system?
