garda vetting

    hi

    as part of my college course I have to get garda vetted and my college organised this by getting me to fill out a form and checking my id ect. They said I should receive an email from the vetting people but I've not received it and its been over 2 weeks (apparantly its meant to be very quick as quick as 5 days). I went onto the garda website but I don't have an application ID to track it. Anybody know if it is normal to be taking this long? I'm aware that the old system was much much longer.

    I'd say you will have it in within the next week. It was three weeks before I got mine. Once I had completed and submitted it, it came back in three or four days.
