    Hi Guys;

    Living overseas for the last 6 years and keen on returning home on the next 12 - 18 months.

    Just wondering what the payscale is like for engineers currently.

    Is there much demand at the moment??

    Keen to hear from any Engineers but in particular the E&I discipline with 5-10 years experience.

    I am an E & I engineer. I have been working in the role for the last 8 years for a large well known consultancy. In my opinion any E & I engineer with 5 years or more experience will not have any issues finding work. Many engineers are on the move at the moment for better packages, myself included. Once word got around that I was moving I received more job offerers.

    Most of my experience is in renewable energy and pharma.

    Best of luck.

    Any salary indicators would also be good would 45k - 55k range be a reasonable estimate for working in pharmaceutical side of things??

    Also apart from commercial construction (which I would like to steer clear of) what other sectors are busy at the moment.

    From what I have seen higher than €55k is achievable.
