Just looking for people's opinions here. I've 6 bottle reared bull calves that are turning 6 months old. I'm caught in 2 minds if I'll castrate them or not. Would they make bull beef at 16 months or is that too specialised and risky?

If I do castrate them, when do people normally do it? They will be done my squeezing them

    Thanks

If you are doing it, do it before cold weather and housing.

Surely if you use a burdizzo you can do them any time of the year?
