new format on AIM for registering calves

anyone know what the retain details boxes are for when registering a calf?? there is one at the very start and again at the end of step 1 when i enter the AI code of the bull

I think it saves the bull details (similar as to how your password is saved on some sites) so that you wouldn't have to put in the same details all the time if you used one bull across the whole/majority of herd.

If you want to automatically keep the same sire for the next calf you register i think. Handy if you have a stock bull
