Hi

You then have to lift up the handle and turn the key an extra bit to remove it afterwards when opening and locking the door.

Is there an easy way to undo this? I have sorted it out before by messing about with 2 keys in the lock but it takes an age to get the lock back to normal.

Replace the cylinder with a thumbturn/ key one. Thumbturn on the inside- no need for key to lock or unlock door internally, key only required to lock or unlock from externally.
