    Hi all,

Anyone know for sure if PP is required for an internal mezz floor?

The mezz will be extending the office area in an industrial building by about 50m2. All changes are internal and the external facade of the structure remains unchanged.

I was under the impression from Section 4 of the Planning & Development Act that all internal changes were exempt.

    Planning permission - possibly not.

    Fire Safety Certificate - Yes

    Disability Access Certificate - Yes

The planning permission would be the cheapest part of the above!

That's what i thought. However, the LA are demanding their pound of flesh for the additional floor area at planning stage
