Hi, just wondering if any of you have ever dyed the covers on seats or curtains ?

the sizes and fits are quite specific so was thinking of doing a home job rather than getting new ones/ getting them made

From experienc if there are patterns / embroidery on them the patterns may not take the dye or end up a completely different shade due to being a different fibre. So the safest bet is to dye them a similar colour to the original or a darker colour that will work with the patterns existing colour should it not take the dye.
