I am 25 and I am hard of hearing, I wear 2 hearing aids and I would love to know if there is any meet ups.
I am joning an ISL class on the 8th October.
I find it hard to hear in certain situations and it will be nice to meet other people who are on the same page and just to chat to and hang out with

Just go to any pub or nightclub in Dublin city centre. No one can hear what the fúck is being said.

A quick search on google there and there are a good many Irish organisations you could contact OP for info on meet ups and social occasions. When you start learning ISL too you'll meet people who you could find easy to hang out with.

Best of luck with it btw, I keep meaning to get around to learning sign language myself but the smartphone is just as handy for conversations these days and I don't have too many friends that are deaf anyways.

Sad fact is, I've googled plenty of deaf and hard of hearing meet ups and there's absolutely nothing but Sign language classes instead. Seems like I might just meet someone in the classes and arrange days out
