The Hilton in Kilmainham would probably be closest.

Thanks, didn't know about that hotel. Unfortunately it's booked out for the weekend I need. Any others?

Camden Court, Jackson Court or any of the ones around Harcourt St.
    Jurys Inn at Christchurch
    Radisson on Golden Lane

All at most a 15 minute walk to National Stadium.

Very few hotels in Dublin 8 /12. Open this and click 'Run' (might not work on a phone): http://url.ie/11y72 There are some guest houses along SCR: http://url.ie/11y73

Camden Court seems reasonable. Travelodge Rathmines is cheap.
