Importing cars from UK and VRT

    Just a question...

    I'm thinking about importing a car or two from the UK in the near future with a view to sell and make a few €.

    Is there a limit on how many you can import per year etc without being seen as a business or is there any way around it, i.e. vrting the cars in different names etc.

    I know you need proof of pps number etc when going to vrt but could use brothers sisters etc

    Not the best place to be seeking advice of an legal/ illegal nature tbh. Ask a revenue official they're a helpful bunch.
