Similar to Xbox one deal but it's €99.99, no jersey or extra game as far as I know.

Is this still a good deal? Was waiting to buy fifa today so would only work out an extra €30 for the new console and guarantee

I went in today but was told to leave the PS4 there with them, overwhelmed with units to test.. awaiting my call .... :(

I dunno I don't think it's a great deal. Your trading time and 100 quid to get a console thats 30% smaller and apparently quiter. At least the s is an improvement on the original. Not to mention it was cheaper to upgrade.

There's no real benefit of the slim over the launch PS4, unlike the launch Xbox and the One S. What I'd be hoping for would be a PS4 Pro trade-in deal.

To be fair I think that if you were already going to buy FIFA 18, it's worth it to trade up to the slim for another €30. Other than that, probably not really worth the hassle of going in and waiting for testing. Was thinking about it when I first heard about the deal, but decided against it.

Bear in mind what audio setup you have. The slim has no optical out, no good to me with astros so iv been waiting on a good deal on the pro.

Worked out well for my lad. He was getting FIFA anyway, for probably €60, so for the extra €40 he traded his 3 year old PS4 for a brand new one. Not as good as the X-Box deal, but still a very good deal I think.

So it's a brand new console?

Cant find out how long this runs for. Might give it a bash on payday in a few weeks

I had the original PS4 and while I loved it, it was loud as hell on any demanding games. Even sometimes watching movies it was just loud enough to be annoying.

So if you were after FIFA 18 and your console is a few years old I'd have said it's a no brainer. Comparatively the slim is SO MUCH quieter, and uses less power too.

Just my two cents... also wouldn't you be getting a new controller too? Not like the old ones had issues ;-)

Thats a decent deal if ya plan on getting fifa 18. It would mean that a new console would cost you €40 as FIfa is around €60.

*Unless you have the 1TB PS4 then it's not as straight forward.

They told you a fib then because it’s on the FB page put up again only yesterday

I was in on Sunday and they told me it was ending that day, and then I rang the shop again Tuesday just to make sure, both people told me offer ended on Sunday.. I'll be on to them again so

It would involve a trek but game have a similar deal going. It also has a Pro option but it’s £199 to go from a 500gb standard to 1gb pro

    It works for me.

Trying again but if it doesn’t work just go to game.co.uk and select trade in.

I got the deal through Tallaght but they calculated it wrong initially and didn't apply the deal when I said to trade in Fifa.. they simply traded in my old ps4 and fifa against a new ps4 slim which meant I paid closer to €60

Sorted now but I had to go back to get the deal put through and get my money back

Got the deal in dundrum today, rang Tallaght again this morning and they still said the deal was over

I traded it in at the GameStop on Patrick Street in Cork today so I’m not sure what the story was with the shop at Wilton
