Nerja-like resort suggestions ??

    Morning All

    We're looking to grab a late-deal in October...1 week. We've been to Nerja a few times and love the place - suits us as a middle-aged couple. Beautiful old town, lots of restaurants and cafes, very walkable and good beach close-by. We were thinking of Estepona...heard lots of good things...but we've left it late and it's quite a distance from Malaga airport etc.

    Any suggestions for Nerja-like resorts in Spain or just beyond ?.

    PS. We've been let-down by October weather in Portugal before so thinking further east

    Estepona is lovely and is approx 1 hour by bus from main bus station in Malaga.
    You could spend an over night in Malaga and then the next day take the bus to Estepona. Malaga it self is a lovely place for a few days.
