As above, 01 hiace, have spare key so can drive and lock it but looking to get broken key removed from barrel. Any recommendations for somebody to do this around south Dublin?
Have tried the 2 paper clips thing on Google but no joy.
Also any guesstimate on how much I should expect to pay
    Thanks

    I'm confused.
If the broken key is stuck in the barrel, how do you start car?
If you have enough purchase on it to twist it to start car then maybe you can use pliers to remove it?

The top half of the key when pushed into the ignition will start the van.
The broken part of the key is a fair bit down the barrel.

Super glue the key together, make sure the key is in the off position easier to get out, but make sure you don't glue it to the barrel !!!

Couple of suggestions there(and yes, one of them is to call an actual locksmith :P) without risking any damage.

Could you stick a couple of little bits of blutak to your end of the key. Might be a bit safer than superglue.

I don't find it to be that sticky, maybe one of those 3M command strips cut to size? You'd want to hold it for 30 seconds to get the best contact out of it but they're feckin strong that's for sure.
