Hoping someone has some experience of this. I am looking at one agency that operates contract on the basis that the contractor set themselves up as umbrella companies or employ an umbrella company. How difficult is it to set one self up as an umbrella company. Do I have submit annual account vat, returns etc. Does the company have limited or unlimited liability and are there cost write-offs related to the business that I utilise to reduce tax liability such as contributing to a private pension.
