easiest way to make box round chimney breast

Hi I've a chimney breast in bedroom hidden behind a wardrobe door. Im looking to redocorate and would like to box it off. I'm hoping I can do it with out plastering? Some kind of board than can be painted or wall papered and ideally still have nice edges If I have too I'll use plasterboards and mesh but id like to avoid if…

Hi

I've a chimney breast in bedroom hidden behind a wardrobe door. Im looking to redocorate and would like to box it off. I'm hoping I can do it with out plastering? Some kind of board than can be painted or wall papered and ideally still have nice edges

If I have too I'll use plasterboards and mesh but id like to avoid if alternative way of doing it
