Hi, I'm trying to remove the door hinges on my house as I want to clean the very old paint (not water based) that is on them. However, I can't see how to remove the hinge pin :( can anyone help? Photos below

They would be sealed non removable.

You have to prise the hinge off door and frame.

Give the door a bang and a pull its only paint holding it on

They are lift off hinges, just open the door beyond 90degrees and you'll be able to lift it separating both halves of the hinge

Thank you! My problem is that beyond 90 degrees there is a wall :( is there another way to remove?

Thank you! Worried that a lot of the paint on the door and the hinge has melded together and if I remove aggressively a lot of paint will come off the door - do you think that would happen...?

Stick a screw driver at a angle into the screw hole and prize open

It's a possibility. Get a stanley knife and run it around the edge of the hinge plate in the frame. Then if you give it a bang there's less chance of it taking paint off the frame.
