Whilst messing with my Samsung UE55D8000 TV I have lost all freesat stations and suspect I moved the dish. Any suggestions on how to get it back ? I accept I am a plonker for messing with stuff I don't really understand.

A little confused here, how did you move the dish messing with your TV?
Is the dish motorised or were you up a ladder?

Yeh, a motorised dish. I was in the settings in the Samsung TV and changed a few things including moving the dish I think. I tried starting from scratch with the TV but still no signal strength.

That is a tricky tv, loads of settings, it can be used with or without a motor. Have you had a good read of the manual? There is a setting for lnb on or off if its off it wont move dish. What motor were you using? was it usals or diseq?

The TV was on diseqc but I changed to Usals but can't remember if lnb was on or off. The dish is about 12 years old from my old dreambox days so no idea about motor type. I tried moving the dish and the TV showed it was positioning it but no signal strength after it stopped. This all started when I tried to point it at different satellites than astra and Eurobird to see what I could access. I should study the manual in more detail probably.
