Sorry if this is wrong forum. In 1995 I got married, in a church signed the register etc at the end of the mass. Our witness were my sister and the husbands brother, they were 15 and 17 at the time (I was 19). Does this mean I'm not legally married because the witnesses were not over 18?

The witness minimum age of 18 only came into effect with the Family Law Act 1995 which took effect from 1st August 1996.
