New job can't get P45

    Hi guys,

I'm starting a new job on the 2nd of October and finishing up with my current employer on the 29th of September.
I can't get my P45 before I start my new job because my current employer is paying me on the 29th, however, my new employer is paying me on the 6th of October.

My question is should I tell Revenue I have finished up with my current employer and register my new job? I have an account with them and can do this easily but not sure if its the right thing to do as I haven't received my final salary yet.

    Thanks in advance!

Register your new job when you start and revenue will send them your tax credits

Had the same issue with moving to a new employer too, just rang the revenue and they have sorted everything on the spot, my first month was taxed correctly

Are you being paid weekly by your new employer? You might end up being emergency taxed at the start but you will get it back.
