Haven't seen a thread on this, 2 episodes in and it's reasonably good IMO.

I'm swaying towards the women lying but that's just to obvious at moment with plot the way its going , as to be more to it.

There's definitely more to it I think.
That dead wife! If years of watching these things has taught me anything it's that you can never trust a TV protagonist in a crime serial with a dead spouse who died in semi mysterious circumstances.

It's good. I dunno who is lying either. Scary to see how our perceptions can vary from one person to another.

I like something that keeps the viewer on their toes not knowing what to expect.

I haven't a clue who to believe and thats the way I want it to stay until the last episode!

I came across an interview with the actress from it on Facebook. It's from ITV This Morning show.
She talks about Liar and gives away something important as an asside when she talks about first reading the script. Don't watch it if you see it and want to be kept in suspence! Kicking myself for watching.

That bloody bloke was lying all along, don't like him at all now, thought it was abit weird asking the detective in for a drink.

He's a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde character all right.

Good preformances from the actors involved in this.

I thought the whole scenario with the schoolgirl really pushed the boundaries of believability, like she just happened to catch the son's gf mid self -induced abortion, and just to be awkward the only person the girl could bare to have around was the son but wouldn't ring herself would prefer her teacher to do so, and then the situation just would necessitate her having to meet with her rapist...

That said I'm thinking the whole thing is about to get much darker and I'm guessing we'll see her being plucked from the jaws of death before it's done.

Yeah, I'm not happy with that end. Comeuppance or a confrontation scene was required. Can't imagine though they would make a second series though. Clearly a one season story.

Think it started to get a bit out there after episode 4.

Scotland Yard are one of the most capable Police forces on the planet yet they didn't know he visited his mother and never thought of searching her house but a civilian was able to solve the crime.

But will it not continue next season as a 'Who done it ?

Great first 3 episodes, then it all just fell apart. If there's a second series, I won't be watching!

Decent enough first eposide I thought, quite a few suspects to keep the viewer guessing.
