Yes, 113 chargers at the one site. Free for employees to use. Fair play, they're not sitting on their hands over there.

    Linky

Loads of workplace chargers being installed in Ireland too.

We're not sitting on our hands either

Is there even one site in Ireland with 11 chargers? Let alone 113 chargers...

Is there a company in Ireland that manufactures one of the top selling EV?

I think Analog in Limerick had 12-14 chargers on site for employee. I'm round the corner from them in Dell and we've only a paltry 8

Hyundai Ioniq EV is manufactured in South Korea. Not in the USA and not in Ireland. And the car is only for sale in 1 of the 50 states in the USA...

In fairness, California was always ahead of the curve in terms of pollution. Gas (petrol) is significantly more expensive there than neighbouring states as it has to meet tougher standards. When I was in the US last year gas was $3 a gallon when it was $2.30 next door in Nevada.

It's also the only state in the US where you can get (lease) hydrogen powered cars like the Honda FCX, as it's the only state with a hydrogen infrastructure.

Very much so. A lot of people consider the USA to be this valhalla of capitalism where there is no concern for the welfare of people or the environment. Wrong. Our own first emissions regulations in the EU came into effect in 1993. They were very similar to the ones that came into effect in the whole of the USA in 1983 and California in 1979.

Which Trump is in the process of reversing.

Why aren't Hyundai building a public charging network for their cars?

Why aren't Hyundai building a public charging network for their cars?
Do Opel, ford etc run Petrol stations ?
I believe that the current Fast chargers will be obsolete in a relative short time and proper fast chargers will come around.
Say they sold 1000 EVs in the last two years? Gonemany chargers would you like them to install and what price would it add to each car ?

    True.
However the standards introduced in california in the 70's are very different to the ones we have now in europe.
When a carbureted V8 in a Suburban 2500 can pass the test - in the 80's, so 10 years after implementation, while getting below 12mpgUS, the test is not so severe.

The tests in the US are a lot more simple than the ones in the EU.
When you look at the engine ranges available in the US - the same models that they sell here in a lot of cases - the emissions (and engine sizes) are very different. Where's the 1.6 fiesta in the EU for instance. Or any large petrol engines, for that matter. A 330i/335i bmw is not a common site on the roads of Ireland but they seem more common over there.
