Hi. Alot of ticket machines in Bray have hours of 830-1830. What are the chances of being clamped after office hours? What are the hours of work for a ticket inspector?

Dunno about Bray but in Dublin city I've seen cars clamped and towed at all hours where parking isn't permitted.

you mean if you park without paying after 17:00/17:30? or after 18:30?

I don't believe Bray has clamping for parking offences on public streets, I think its just fines.

Why not just pay... when you have to pay?

Bit like that guy who took Moe's floors from the Simpsons...

"Well next time, pay yer bills"

    "But i don't wanna!!"

Bray is very cheap for parking compared to Dublin. Think a euro at the very, very most for the 530pm to 630pm slot. If not a lot less.

The privately run car parks, the mermaid, SuperValu and I think part of the one behind the church on the Main Street are managed by APCOA and they pretty much wait beside your car waiting for the grace period to expire if you run over. Down by the dart station is private too and I've heard of people being clamped there too.

Parking rest of the town (on street parking, the beach, the florentine car park) is under the control of the council and I've never seen or heard of anyone being clamped by them.

Although to add, parking in some parts of the town are as cheap as 30c an hour (parts of the beach). The most expensive council parking is €1 an hour I think in the florentine car park.
