I sent a gift card from penneys in a birthday card in the post to someone but they never received it. Just wondering does anyone know if u can cancel the balance on a penneys gift card or maybe see whether it has been spent or not?

Does a Penneys 'gift card' consist of a credit balance on a plastic card? If it does and you held on to the receipt, you should immediately contact Penneys and get the card cancelled. The receipt should have the card serial number.
