Lack of integration in Dublin

An example I've noticed. No Dublin Bus route connects Celbridge village with Hazelhatch train station. Why is this? Do Dublin Bus see the Kildare line as competition to the 67 and 67x routes? I know there's a mini bus (not Dublin Bus) that picks passengers up after SOME peak hour trains but I've never seen one go in the other direction (not a regular commuter from Celbridge, usually once a week).

Surely if a train station is located a good 25 minute walk from it's main catchment area, there should be buses connecting these two areas.

The times of the feeder bus are in the rail timetable.

It's not a matter for Dublin Bus. The NTA specify all PSO services.

I would assume it's not the highest on the priority list in terms of where scarce bus and driver resources can be allocated at present.

the feeder bus is rarely full indicating demand is not that high

If the 67s started/finished in Celbridge there would be a good case for a terminus in Hazelhatch for some buses

However, they start/finish in Maynooth Train Station and therefore Celbridge residents are linked to that train line instead

    Celbridge isn't in Dublin.

Would a bus make a turn up towards the station?
