    Hi,

Can you advise on the Bank of Ireland Debit Card point of sale limit? We are getting married in a couple of weeks and will want to pay the hotel/reception balance by card if possible to avoid carrying cash. Is there a limit on a transaction of this nature?

    Thanks.

    Hi howtolive,

    Thanks for your post.

At point of sale you can pay up to your available funds however, some retailers or hotels may have a limit on their side. If you're planning to use your card abroad, please ensure to place travel notice before hand. You can do this in Service Desk on 365 Online.

If you've any other questions, please let us know. Congratulations from us all here and we hope all goes well on the big day!

    Tara
