VRT for Ford Galaxy Titanium

Not sure if my query deserves a new thread as it's a similar issue.

Bought a Ford Galaxy in the UK last week. Titanium spec as far as I am concerned (no leather or panoramic roof). Chassis number matches V5, car inspected and history clean etc.

But when I am filling out my VRT form last night, I notice it's listed on the V5 as a Titanium X. Not very obvious as written 'TITANIUMXAUTO' but mea culpa.

I just used Titanium on the form but they went ahead and assessed it as a Titanium X anyway, not on the system so Rosslare (?) have to decide.

Now emissions are the same regardless and it's a 2011 car so extras shouldn't be an issue but I'm bracing myself for a nasty surprise.

Say that they charge me considerably more than expected (had been using Titanium on VRT calculator), has anyone ever imported and registered a car here and then had the spec corrected? I'm guessing there is no point dealing with the DVLA as car is not registered to me.

Comparing a like for like manual titanium and titanium X, there is €400 in the difference for a 2011.

    That's on a 27% VRT calculation.
