Anyone having issues with Eir right now?

    I'm on the FTTC service right now. I've logged a fault so we will see what comes of that...but in the mean time :)
    Modem connects for 5~10min then drops, reconnects eventually and drops again (rinse and repeat).

    DSL flashing for a long time before it comes back? If so its a local problem.

    Yup, so local problem would be modem, cabling, line all the way to the street can right?

    More than likely the cabling, but one of those.

    Update: swapped the F1000 modem for a F2000 modem and all seems fine now. Unfortunately the F2000 doesn't support SNMP so I can't have a cron checking the download speeds to catch it should it ever drop/half like the F1000 might have done every other week
