    Hi,

    i've a 2008 Touran 1.9 TDI DSG with 120k miles

It has developed a judder when idling

When you start and don't move its not there if you move off and stop it appears

Has the DSG got a flywheel?

Sounds like the flywheel to me. DSG has one. Your mechanic will know fairly quickly.

Thanks for the quick reply will VCDS give any clues I can get access to it handy enough and if so where would one look?

A flywheel is a hardware component so I'm sure how it would be diagnosed by software alone.
