Singer-songwriter looking to form a band, Dublin southside area

    Hi,

    Looking for a bassist, drummer, guitarist and second vocalist (female), preferably within the Dublin south/ central area to work on original material. I have much experience of playing live on a solo basis but looking to expand on this. I play guitar, piano and sing and use software (PreSonus)

    Not looking for a standard rock or metal sound. I'm looking to work with versatile musicians with a wide range of musical influences. I'm influenced by singer-songwriters such as Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake and indie bands like The Smiths but also classical music, Latin/Spanish music (e.g.flamenco, bossa nova), Jazz, electronic music, dance, soul and edgier things like The Fall and Captain Beefheart. Literature, theatre, film, art are influential on my writing also.

    At this stage I want to put together a good live band to gig around the Dublin area, do some recording, establish a regular audience and build further from there. Ideally looking to rehearse in the Dublin 6/8 area in a space that's convenient for people to get to.
